Domain repointing: Godaddy account to the another godaddy account Just change the ip address in the AName records, no need to change anything else, give it the recommended wait time to see and you should be good. If the domain with the who needs the new hosting already have a hosting account associated with it then you’ll need to cancel that first
or else it won’t work (godaddy tech). If it’s internal (within godaddy) there’s no need to change the nameservers.

Repointing a Yahoo Domain to Godaddy: If you’re repointing yahoo domain, you need only change the ip, if you do change the name servers you’re yahoo mail won’t work. If you change the mx record for the mail that should take care the need to host your
email else where.

If you happen to change your name servers and your email doesn’t work
just change the Aname and MX records, keep the nameserver to the default
(yahoo or godaddy) and everything should be well after…. :)
